One of the most common complaints, it is estimated that there are around 1 million people with migraine in Hungary, and even more people who suffer from other forms of recurrent headache. Although headaches can be a harbinger of serious illness, in the majority of cases a detailed examination reveals no organ abnormalities. However, the cause can be identified and treatment can be started. Contrary to popular belief, most headaches are treatable.

Jaw joint disease
TMJ disorders cause widespread and varying degrees of discomfort in the affected area, ranging from mild, persistent discomfort to severe, splitting pain. Headache, ear, face and neck pain are common symptoms. It is often difficult to open the mouth and close the joints. Disorders of the jaw joint are felt not so much in the joint itself but in the affected muscles above and below the joints. Examination by an ear, nose and throat specialist, dentist.
Treatment methods: pain relief, use of occlusion splint, physiotherapy, stress relief.

Facial nerve palsy
Facial nerve palsy: impairment of the function of the facial nerve (VII nerve), in which the muscles innervated by the nerve are weakened. Symptoms include difficulty in closing the eyes due to muscle weakness of one side of the face, dropping of the lip, facial expressions such as smiling, failure to raise the eyebrows, but also sensory disturbance, increased sensitivity to sound, pain in the ear canal.

Specialised physiotherapy, during which an individually tailored rehabilitation programme is set up: passive, active muscle exercises (stertching, strengthening), electrical stimulation, massage to prevent muscle breakdown.
