Medical rehabilitation refers to the activity that medical science provides to persons with disabilities through its own tools (diagnostics, therapy, prevention, care) so that, by developing their existing abilities, they can partially or fully regain their independence and become capable of integrating into family, workplace, and society.

What happens during a rehabilitation examination?
- Medical history: mapping of previous musculoskeletal complaints and conditions, surgical interventions (surgery, fracture, sprain, joint inflammation, etc.)
- Current complaints: qualitative assessment of pain, lifestyle (home and workplace), clarification of circumstances related to the musculoskeletal system
- Inspection: posture and gait examination, joint axis deviations – examination of the shape of the chest, spine, and joints
- Functional examination: functional examination of the spine, range of motion and deformities of small and large joints (shoulder, elbow, hip, knee, ankle), examination of axis deviations
- Peripheral nerve (neurological) examination: examination of the innervation of muscles operating the joints, examination of the sensory and motor reflex arc (intrinsic and pathological reflexes)
- Summary of therapeutic recommendations, documentation, preparation of outpatient report
- Prescription of medication and medical aid devices
- Imaging diagnostics and laboratory tests at another institution!
How do we reach a diagnosis?
- Often the anamnesis and thorough physical examination are sufficient for this, but in certain cases imaging diagnostics or even laboratory tests are necessary.
- We organize the examinations recommended by the specialist (laboratory test, X-ray, ultrasound, CT, MRI) for our patients and ensure the necessary examinations are conducted within 24-72 hours at our partner institutions, where the best diagnostic equipment and specialists await our patients.
- We receive the medical reports in electronic format.
