About
Seeing the plea for help in the eyes of another person in the sanctuary of Asclepius has always been a great responsibility. I believe that the most important thing in medicine is to listen to the patient’s complaints, to listen empathetically and to find a solution to the problem together, to the best of our ability.
My profession is based on family tradition: even my grandparents were doctors, and as a small child I watched in awe as they healed in their surgery. My career choice and my commitment to orthopedics and traumatology were shaped by my own childhood experiences and those of my three brothers and sisters. We were constantly in trauma surgery, where the help I received from my parents’ white-coat colleagues and my early positive patient experiences ultimately steered me towards this field. Here I found the most beautiful synthesis of manuality and theoretical knowledge. The unparalleled perfection of human anatomy and the dynamic development of the discipline have led to constant progress ever since.
I graduated from Semmelweis University in 2018 . I enriched my professional experience with an extended study trip to Germany, where I experienced for the first time what it is like to be part of a team working towards a common goal as an active participant in patient care. Since my graduation, I have been working at the Honvédkórház: from 2018 to 2023 I will be working in the Accident and Emergency Department and from 2023 in the Orthopedics Department, currently as a specialist. My work is focused on limb traumatology and chronic joint degeneration; I mainly perform prosthetic surgery on large joints and I also take care of injuries resulting from accidents that require surgery.
Besides medicine, science and education have played an important role in my life. During my university years, I researched the accuracy of MRI images of the knee, and for three years I was a demonstrator at the Institute of Anatomy, teaching practicals to future medical students. In the doctor-patient relationship, I believe that mutual trust and personalisation are the most important things. My aim is to offer my patients the best of my professional knowledge and a positive attitude. When I’m not working, I prefer to spend my free time with my family and friends, and for recreation I like cycling and DIY.
