Lateral Collateral Ligament Injury
Lateral Collateral Ligament Injury
Injury involving twisting of the knee joint, possibly from an internal blow or kick, which is relatively rare on its own, is often associated with damage to the posterior cruciate ligament. On the outside of the knee joint, pain and tenderness develop below or above the joint line, rarely accompanied by instability (“wobbling”). In more severe cases, the ligament at the site of the rupture is called a “tear”. “hole” at the site of the tear. Partial ruptures are treated with conservative therapy, only complete ruptures are followed by an intervention. The specialist orthopedics examination is indicated.
Examination: specialist orthopedic traumatologist.
