About

Dear Interested Party!

I’m an orthopedic traumatologist who grew up in Miskolc, got my medical degree in Debrecen and did my residency in Budapest (2000-2007). After my medical degree I worked in Spain for 5 years (Canary Islands, Pamplona and Calatayud). In addition to my professional activities, I would like to highlight my attachment to wrestling and sport; I have worked as a competitor and then as a doctor for the Junior National Team of my country and in Spain I worked for the Spanish Wrestling Federation. I am currently a member of the Medical Committee of the National and International Wrestling Federation and of the Board of the Hungarian Sports Medicine Association.

I returned home in 2012 after a successful PhD thesis. I work in Budapest, as head of the Orthopedics Department of the Honvéd Hospital and partly in private practice.

I am committed to athletes, and in particular I have a lot of experience with injuries in combat sports. My scientific activities have led me to scoliosis and its treatment, in which I also have individual expertise. In addition to the above, I naturally also undertake general adult and pediatric orthopedics and traumatology cases. The surgical background of the department where I operate is the Orthopedics Department of the Honvéd Hospital and the St. Magdolna Private Hospital.

Thank you for your trust.

BIO

Dear Visitors!

I am a Hungarian native, who received my medical degree at the University of Debrecen in Hungary. I graduated my Orthopedic and Trauma Surgery residency training program (class of 2007) at Semmelweis University, Budapest.

Later on I worked as an attending Orthopaedic Surgeon in Spain from 2007 to 2012: Hospital General de la Palma and Centro Medico Tinabana, Department of Orthopedics and Trauma Surgery, Santa Cruz de la Palma, Canary Islands, later Mutua Navarra, Pamplona and Hospital Ernest Lluch, Calatayud, Aragon Spain.

I obtained a Ph.D. degree in Medicine in 2012 at the University of Debrecen.

As a certified Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon, my special interest is Sports Medicine, mainly Combat sports. Being a former athlete and active competitor in wrestling, from 2000 to 2007 I was assigned as the official doctor of the Hungarian Junior Wrestling Team and from 2008 to 2012 as the official doctor of the Spanish Wrestling Federation. After returning to Hungary I joined again to the Medical Service of the Hungarian Wrestling Federation.

I also focus on scoliosis and its treatment as my PhD degree is from the biomechanics of that entity.

As I am a general Orthopaedic and Trauma surgeon, I admit these cases as well with operative background at the Saint John Hospital, Budapest, Department of orthopaedics.
