About
He graduated from Semmelweis University of Medicine and has been working at the Neurological Clinic since then. His current position is Associate Professor.
He has a degree in neurology and clinical neurophysiology, and defended his PhD thesis on electrophysiology and neuroimmunology in 2010. He obtained his habilitation in 2023.
Since 2001, he has been the director of the Multiple Sclerosis Centre at the Clinic. He deals with all aspects of general neurology, but his specialties include neuroimmunological diseases, and as head of the SM outpatient clinic he cares for hundreds of patients .
Another main area of interest is diseases of the nerves in the surrounding area. In the Electrophysiology Laboratory of the Neurology Clinic he performs EMG/ENG examinations and evoked response studies .
In addition to clinical work, he is involved in the education of medical students, residents, candidates for specialist examinations and in the training of medical specialists.
Author of several articles published in Hungarian and foreign scientific journals, regularly gives lectures at neurological congresses, professional forums, further training courses.
Vice President of the Hungarian Neuroimmunological Society.
He performs electrophysiological (EMG/ENG) examinations in his private outpatient clinic, and conducts consultations and gives second opinions in neuroimmunological diseases (multiple sclerosis).
