About
Born into a family of doctors. His father, a district doctor, was awarded the “State Award” and “Distinguished Doctor”. His two brothers and both children are doctors. As a child, he decided to become a doctor.
He graduated from the University of Medicine in Debrecen in 1972 .
He graduated with honours in orthopedics in 1976 and in trauma surgery in 1979.
Between 1972 and 1977 he worked at the Department of Trauma Surgery of the Hajdú-Bihar County Hospital, and between 1977 and 2013 at the Orthopaedic Clinic of the University of Debrecen, where he was Associate Professor, Deputy Director of the Clinic and responsible for trauma care.
He learned arthroscopy and prosthesis surgery for the knee joint in Germany (Rostockn, Eisenberg), Switzerland (Basel) and USA (Portsmouth ) . He obtained his “Candidate of Medicine” in 1993 and his Ph.D. in 1996 .
For more than 35 years, he has been involved in the teaching of medical students and medical candidates in Hungarian and English, and in the training of medical specialists.
His special surgical interests are prosthetic implantation of the great joint, arthroscopy of the knee joint. He does not operate at the BMM. To date, he has performed more than 1200 prosthesis surgeries and 2000 arthroscopic interventions. On several occasions he has worked
as a consultant in private clinics in England, where he implanted prostheses. He has been on 18 extended and short study trips abroad.
He has participated in more than 100 international and national congresses, where he has presented 150 papers. More than half a hundred publications in foreign and national journals.
He has been working as a private doctor in the Budapest Musculoskeletal Private Outpatient Clinic for 10 years.
In addition, he also works at the Orthopedics Clinic of the Szegedi Street Clinic in the 13th district of Budapest, where he also performs day surgery interventions for patients examined there.
He is a member of the “Society of Doctors who have completed a course in Mind Control”.
Her son is a plastic surgeon and her daughter works as a doctor in the “health and beauty industry”.
He loves his job. His favourite pastime is travelling and tennis. He loves music, nature and patients.
