About
He wanted to be a veterinarian as a child, but during his high school years he became more and more aware that he wanted to be a doctor. He was drawn to manual work from childhood.
“I’ve been dismantling and reassembling what I could, from a very young age.”
He completed his medical studies at the Faculty of General Medicine of the University of Szeged. During his undergraduate studies he spent 5 months as a scholarship holder at the Medical University of Göttingen, Germany. He passed his specialist examinations in orthopedics and traumatology with excellent results.
“I have worked at the National Traumatology Institute for almost 7 years, and I have also been involved in teaching Hungarian and English medical students at the Department of Traumatology at Semmelweis University.From 2020, I will be working at the Orthopedics Department of the National Musculoskeletal Institute as an orthopedic and trauma surgeon.”
He implants more than 100 large joint (hip, knee, shoulder) prostheses every year. In addition, he performs a large number of arthroscopic knee and shoulder interventions.
“In addition to various musculoskeletal diseases, my narrowest professional interests are in the treatment of special shoulder and knee joint diseases and injuries. I had the opportunity to study the former under one of Hungary’s most renowned specialists in shoulder surgery.”
Because of his love of trauma surgery (traumatology), he runs a trauma on-call service several times a month.
