The patient is always right. He feels it, he knows why it hurts, where it hurts. This is the starting point for diagnosis and treatment.

I have known since I was ten that I wanted to be a doctor. I was fascinated by the complexity of the human body , and especially the nervous system, so I set my sights on a career in medicine and then surgery. My constant desire to learn has remained ever since; every year I want to bring new innovations to my patients in our country.

Early in my career, I joined one of the best neurosurgery training centres in the country, where I performed a lot of traditional surgeries; these provided a solid foundation for my later specialisation. I obtained my PhD partly in minimally invasive techniques and partly in the treatment of patients with spinal tumours.

I have always been fascinated by the complexity of the nervous system, the brain and the spine. I knew that they could never be deciphered, but I wanted to at least get a glimpse of these wonders.

In 2018, I was also the first in Europe to use a new generation of endoscopic spine surgery techniques to treat spinal disorders. I have performed hundreds of successful surgeries in the past years, and I have adapted the technique to the needs of Hungarian patients, so it is now a unique method. In 2023 , the Dr. Czigléczki – Endoscopic Spine Centre was established, which is a unique endoscopic centre in the region; many foreign patients come to us.

Another unique innovation is the use of ultrasound-guided techniques. Using ultrasound, carpal tunnel can be treated without cutting the hand, ensuring a fast recovery time.

I regularly give free, online educational lectures for Hungarian people to learn more about spinal diseases; we have also created a special YouTube channel for this purpose. Every year I also hold formal training courses for health professionals on spinal diseases.
