About
I believe that healing is based on trust, empathy and collaboration.
As a paediatric and neuro-orthopaedic specialist, my aim is to provide modern, gentle solutions to children’s musculoskeletal problems and to restore the long-term joy of free movement. My career choice was driven by perseverance, humanity and a desire to help; my interest in physics and mechanics led me early on to an understanding of how the musculoskeletal system works. I graduated in medicine from the University of Szeged, Hungary, and my thesis was on the long-term outcomes of hip prosthesis surgery.
I gained my professional experience in Hungary and Germany, working for more than ten years in leading centres for pediatric orthopedics. Most recently, as Chief Surgeon at the Schön Klinik Kinder- und Neuroorthopaedie in Munich, I performed minimally invasive and complex surgeries, was actively involved in specialist training and mentoring of young colleagues. I am a regular lecturer at international conferences; my scientific work focuses on deformities in pediatric orthopedics and advanced surgical procedures. As a member of professional societies (MOT, DGOU, Neuroortho) I work closely with multidisciplinary teams.
My specialties include minimally invasive correction of pediatric foot deformities and axial deviations, advanced diagnostics and treatment of hip dysplasia, complex therapy of spastic mobility disorders, and surgical treatment of congenital and acquired deformities. In the surgery, we always create an atmosphere of trust: the treatment plan is developed together with the parents to ensure that every step of the healing journey is clear and safe.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time in nature – hiking, cycling – DIY and football; these experiences give me a balance to the intense daily life of my profession. My previous job was praised for its “dedication and professionalism” – an approach I will continue to take, providing personalised, empathetic and dedicated care for every child and family.
