About

I am a qualified physiotherapist with many years of experience.

Why did I choose this profession?

I love people, I love helping others. Sport has been a part of my life since childhood, and during my school years I was interested in biology and physics, alongside music and dance. I wrote my diploma thesis on polytraumatised patients, which is why I tried to get a job in this field after my state exams. I started my career at the Rheumatology-Musculoskeletal Clinic of the Uzsoki Street Hospital, and after six months I transferred to the Post-Orthopedics-Traumatology Department. Among my great colleagues, I learned how much more effective our work is when we can work together as a team.

After the birth of my children, I returned to work in the Traumatology Department of St. John’s Hospital. Here I was involved in rehabilitation as well as acute post-operative care of accidental and sports injuries. The biggest and most rewarding challenge in an acute ward is gaining the trust of patients to work with us. During my 13 years here, I have also met many spinal patients and when I had the opportunity, I started working in the Neurosurgery Department of the hospital. It was here that I learnt the rehabilitation of patients who had undergone corrective and other spinal surgeries, which became my favourite area, along with the aftercare of sports and accidental injuries. After assessing the lack of follow-up care for these patients after discharge from hospital, I started practising at the Budapest Musculoskeletal Private Outpatient Clinic in 2015.

In my work, I keep abreast of new therapeutic techniques and participate in professional training.
