Neurosurgeons available in BMM

Neurosurgeons specialise in the surgical treatment of diseases of the spine and nervous system.

After a thorough diagnostic examination, the neurosurgeon performs surgery on specific sensitive areas of the brain and spine. A Private Musculoskeletal Clinic in Budapest Two of Hungary's top neurosurgeons have private practices where you can have a thorough physical examination and consultation. After a thorough mapping and examination of the patient's complaints, the specialist decides on the necessary therapy on an individual basis, depending on the patient's condition and chances of recovery. Surgery is performed in an in-patient ward of the hospital in justified cases.

What happens during a neurosurgical examination?

  • Medical history: history of previous musculoskeletal complaints and diseases.
  • Present complaints: qualitative assessment of pain, lifestyle (home and work), musculoskeletal conditions.
  • Peripheral nerve (neurological) examination: examination of the innervation of the muscles that control the joints, examination of the sensory and motor reflexes, and examination of the innate and abnormal reflexes.
  • Functional examination: functional examination of the spine.
