About
Krisztina Tatai I am a certified physiotherapist. My studies at the University of Pécs University of Medicine I graduated from the Faculty of Health Sciences, Faculty of Physical Therapy in 2000.
I specialise in the treatment of chronic back and low back pain caused by spinal problems (e.g. scoliosis, herniated discs), spinal instability, lumbago, osteoporosis, cervical spine problems, orthopaedic traumatology and post-operative rehabilitation; and sports injuries (e.g. fractures, sprains, joint and muscle injuries).
Movement, music and dance have played an important role in my life since childhood, and I was trained as a musician and doctor. I also experienced from a young age the beauty of serving the sick and the importance of regular exercise (my mother was a physiotherapist). For these reasons I decided to become a physiotherapist.
After graduating from college, it soon became clear that the knowledge I had acquired there was insufficient, so I felt it necessary to keep renewing myself professionally, to keep my knowledge up to date and to be adequately prepared, and I never stopped learning. I am constantly and purposefully expanding my expertise through courses and training, so that I can help my clients with a broader range of knowledge and tools.
I believe in a combination of methods and change, and that, by setting a well-defined goal, the maximum effort invested by both parties will produce a more effective result! My primary concern in rehabilitation is individualised movement therapy, which is essential for getting back to everyday life. After a thorough assessment of your condition, I will treat your existing musculoskeletal problem in a targeted and effective way. My aim is that patients come to me with confidence and that together, in a pleasant environment, we can find a solution to their problem so that movement becomes a pleasure and natural activity again. In my work, I consider it important to inform my patients as fully as possible in order to understand their problems. In this way, a treatment plan can be developed with them, according to their needs and current condition. It is important for me to develop body awareness, to address and eliminate the source of the problem.
My regular forms of exercise: running, pilates, yoga, oriental dance.
