About

I never wanted to be anything other than a doctor and I was already attracted to rheumatology during my university years.

After graduation, I got a job at the St. András State Rheumatology and Rehabilitation Hospital in Hévíz, and after a few months I had the opportunity to work at ORFI. After the birth of my three children, I spent a longer period of time away from the institute, so I only qualified as a rheumatologist in 2014. In the course of my work in the rehabilitation department, I mainly conditions of a degenerative nature, arthritis, spinal osteoarthritis, disc lesions Since January 2015 I have been working in the outpatient clinic of ORFI, providing care for inflammatory rheumatology, rheumatoid arthritises, ankylosing spondylitis, biological therapy claimant or osteoporosis patients.

In order to keep up to date with the latest developments in the profession, I enjoy attending conferences on rheumatology, osteology and borderline issues. In 2014, I successfully passed the two-year EULAR Online Course on Rheumatic Diseases in English, which is continuously updated to provide the most up-to-date knowledge.

Since 2015, I have been involved in teaching medical students - which I really enjoy - and we also give regular patient information lectures. I think it is very important that the patient is aware of the reasons for their complaints, what they can do to improve their condition and what their prospects are. In the treatment of musculoskeletal conditions, it is often more than just taking a box of medicine, it is important that the patient understands and accepts that he/she must be an active participant in the healing - healing process. Of course, sometimes you need a joint puncture, a local injection. In addition to the more widely used hyaluronic acid, I have good experience with collagen injection techniques for appropriate indications. Whatever treatment is chosen, it must be planned and carried out on a personalised basis, after the patient has been informed and in agreement with us.. I like puzzles and jigsaw puzzles; I think diagnosis is often similar to solving them. It's a time-consuming process, requiring curiosity, attention and thoroughness. The real winner of an unexpected diagnosis is, of course, the patient, but it can also be a success for the doctor.
