Our patients' opinions
About
...you need to be able to find a common voice with the patient, to know and understand the patient's needs and lifestyle in order to choose the most appropriate treatment and to be able to talk openly about any questions that arise.
As long as I can remember I wanted to be a doctor. My mother often told me that I was four years old when I first informed the family. At the time they were just giddy, but when I was 8 or 10 and still winking at medicine, they began to believe that boys really did want to heal.
I was active in sport while studying at primary and secondary school. More than 10 years of competitive figure skating fatefully determined my interest in musculoskeletal pain and injuries. My curiosity in this field did not diminish during my university years, which is how I chose to specialise in orthopaedics and trauma surgery. I had the opportunity to experience the clinical world at an early age, as I worked as a medical student from my third year as an operating theatre assistant, then as a nurse's aide and later as an ambulance officer. Besides bones, joints and muscles, the human body is quite complex. I have always tried to see more than just one part of the human body, but to see how it works from as wide an angle as possible. Almost a decade and a half in emergency care, alongside my schooling, gave me the opportunity to broaden my perspective.
After graduation, I started my residency training at the General Traumatology Department of the current Hungarian Defence Medical Centre, where I now work as an orthopaedic traumatologist.
In my opinion, it is no longer enough for a surgeon to operate with precision, he must be able to find common ground with the patient, to know and understand the patient's needs and lifestyle in order to choose the most appropriate treatment and to be able to talk openly about any questions that arise.
Here in the practice, I can spend time with my patients in a suitable environment, which makes me happy and excited to work with them.
I welcome all dear patients, especially hip and knee joint abrasions, injuries, painful heel and forefoot deformities, and general spinal and upper limb musculoskeletal complaints those with.
