About

The patient is always right. He feels it, he knows why it hurts, where it hurts. This is the starting point for diagnosis and treatment.

Since I was ten I know I want to be a doctor. Impressed the human body and especially complexity of the nervous system, therefore I was purposefully prepared into medicine and then surgery. A my constant desire to learn has remained ever since; every year I want to make new innovations available to my patients in our country.

Early in my career I joined one of the best neurosurgical training centres in the country, where I did a lot of traditional surgery; this gave me a solid basis for my later specialisation. My PhD degree partly from minimally invasive techniques and partly from treating patients with spinal cancer.

I have always been fascinated by the complexity of the nervous system, the brain and the spine. I knew that they could never be deciphered, but I wanted to at least get a glimpse of these wonders.

In 2018, I was the first in Europe to use a new generation of endoscopic spinal surgery techniques for the treatment of spinal disorders. I have performed hundreds of successful surgeries over the years, and I have adapted the technique to the needs of Hungarian patients, so it is now a unique method. My expertise is recognised internationally: I have written chapters on this subject in several books abroad. In 2023, the Dr. Czigléczki - Endoscopic Spine Centre was established, which is also the only endoscopy centre in the region; we also receive many patients from abroad.

Search more specific our innovation is the use of ultrasound-guided techniques. Ultrasound can also be used to treat carpal tunnel syndrome without cutting the hand, providing a fast recovery time.

I regularly give free, online educational presentations to raise awareness of spinal diseases among the Hungarian public, and we have created a dedicated YouTube channel for this purpose. Every year I also hold formal training courses for health professionals on spinal diseases.
