We are looking for a Patient Coordinator, Medical Secretary!
Join the BMM Musculoskeletal Private Clinic, where patients' recovery depends not only on the specialists - but also on you!
In this role, you will be the link between patients and our doctors. You'll help our patients find the most appropriate specialist for them and actively support the smooth flow of patient care. You will also be responsible for the accurate and professional recording of what the specialist has said - so you will play a key role in the healing process, not only from an organisational but also from a documentation point of view.

if you have the following characteristics
Systems thinking and technical acumen
You will be working with multiple online systems (e.g. patient record systems, communication platforms, X-ray viewers, form managers), so it is important that you understand the processes, are confident with the interfaces and have no problems with monotony.
Quick adaptability and ability to prioritise
The ability to switch quickly between programmes and tasks, to understand logical sequences and to find solutions in a calm and efficient manner will be key to day-to-day operations.
Excellent communication and empathy
Your work will involve contact with people - patients and professionals - so assertive, empathetic communication is essential. It is also important that data is entered accurately and precisely into the right systems.
Weekend availability
Because our patients' comfort comes first, our work schedule includes two weekend days a month. If predictability is important to you, we will agree on this schedule well in advance.

Alongside the support of your line manager, you'll also work closely with other departments to ensure smooth and personalised care at every point in the patient journey.

In your work, it is important to handle information accurately and efficiently, with particular attention to administrative and documentation tasks.
Qualifications and experience
It's an advantage if you have experience in healthcare or commerce, but if you're just starting out in your career - for example, alongside a medical degree - you're still welcome. A minimum of secondary education is required and at least 1 year of experience is an advantage for this position.
Interest in health
We are looking for a colleague who is passionate, respectful and curious about the medical world, and who is keen to develop in the long term.
Communication skills - both in English and Hungarian
Communicate in English at a conversational level, as foreign patients are not rare. It is also important to be able to interpret technical terms (including Latin) with confidence.

You will spend your day in our practice, working closely with our colleagues. We are only open for patient follow-up in the office.

Payment
Basically, you should consider the position as a part-time opportunity, a second job or a supplement, including two fixed weekend days per month. You can learn from recognised medical specialists.

Integration process into company culture
First 3 months
The focus is on getting the routine down: you'll learn about our systems, workflows and how the team works. During this time, you'll receive ongoing support so you can be confident in your tasks and take the initiative.
Months 4-10
Once you're comfortable with day-to-day operations, we encourage you to find a project or area in your own environment that you want to develop - and contribute to the organisation. Your manager will actively support you in this too.
Months 12-18
In the long term, to maintain your internal motivation, we want you to take on a specific activity that not only reinforces BMM's values, but also deepens your own commitment - whether it's a professional initiative, mentoring or new process development.
These will be your specific tasks
In this position You will be that person, who will ensure that our patients can move smoothly along the road to recovery with a rolling smile - be it personal presence or back-up.
Your tasks will include:
- Reception of our patients - in person and online.
- Accompanying patients on their journey throughout the patient journey, from first contact to the completion of the treatment plan.
- Performing administrative tasks: managing records, internal communication, invoicing, accurate documentation.
- Supporting the work of doctors - Preparing the doctor's office, taking into account preferences, keeping the offices tidy.
- Recording and maintaining documentation of the outpatient records for specialist appointments.
- Support for the day-to-day running of the sites - working closely with customer service and other team members.
- Patient information and referral along the lines of their treatment plan, based on the advice of their specialist.
- Feedback managemente - openness to positive reinforcement as well as to comments for improvement.
- Active participation in medium and long-term projects, to support the objectives of outpatient and inpatient care.
The focus will always remain the same: Patient first.

You will be in daily contact with our doctors, your line manager and you will also work closely with the customer service team - all this is essential to patients receive the highest possible quality of care.
