TR therapy
The modern physiotherapy treatment TECAR is now available at BMM!
The TR-Therapy, or TECAR treatment involves targeted radiofrequency therapy. It offers a unique therapeutic option for the treatment of musculoskeletal disorders and sports injuries.
What exactly is TR therapy?
The therapy uses different applicators to deliver radiofrequency waves to different tissue depths. This is done using a special device that generates and delivers an electromagnetic field to the treated tissue. This interaction triggers the production of heat and increased tissue metabolism in the affected area. The process results in reduced muscle pain and tissue regeneration.
How does TR therapy work?
TR therapy, or tecar therapy a physical procedure. The physiotherapy device includes a central unit and two applicators. These applicators/electrodes are placed on the surface of the body.
The two electrodes are placed so that the body part is positioned between the units. For example, when treating the thigh, one applicator is placed on the back of the thigh and the other on the front. And between the two electrodes, the electromagnetic field mentioned above is created.
The treatment is painless and completely safe. The patient only feels a pleasant warmth during the therapy.
- During the treatment, the physiotherapist performing the therapy will occasionally perform a massaging movement. If necessary, muscle activation is also performed.
- The TR therapy physiotherapy great for combining. To improve certain muscle movements and reduce pain ideally, 30 minutes of physiotherapy followed by 30 minutes of TR. The improvements achieved can be long-lasting and permanent.
- Targeted radiofrequency therapy outside of physiotherapy, with medical massage can be merged to achieve even faster and more efficient results and tissue regeneration.
