A paediatric surgery is a branch of medicine that applies surgical and traumatological procedures and interventions specifically for children. In childhood, the continuous development and rapid growth of the body often requires a different approach to problem solving than in adults. At the same time, many diseases are specific to childhood and adolescence, which also require a child-friendly surgical approach.

Chest deformities in children Funnel chest (pectus excavatus), hens chest (pectus carninatus)
abnormal inward compression/protrusion of the sternum and ribs. In addition to aesthetic problems, it can also lead to other complaints, so it is important to consult a specialist. If necessary, our specialist will inform you during the consultation about the possibilities of a so-called minimally invasive surgical correction.
Inguinal hernia, testicular hernia, appendectomy, transverse hernia, abdominal and pelvic laparoscopic surgery
a modern, so-called minimally invasive procedure, which is performed through a small incision of 1-2 cm instead of open surgery with large incisions. This method reduces the surgical burden on the child and significantly shortens the recovery time.

these can be congenital or acquired problems that can lead to serious inflammation. During the examination, our specialist will provide you with information about what to do if you have a foreskin scraping or foreskin narrowing. Surgical treatment is only recommended in justified cases!
