A fluid-filled tight hose in the knee joint, which develops due to pressure from increased fluid volume in the knee joint, and therefore the above knee joint disorders need to be treated. If the hernia is very tight and large, it is advisable to tap the hernia, which can be done with a needle and syringe in an outpatient setting. A specialist orthopaedic examination is warranted.
