We can add sports equipment to the physiotherapy exercises.
Soft ball
Soft ball, also known as small ball, differs in material from traditional balls. Thanks to its soft material it has a high load capacity. You can even lie down on it for strain stabilisation training and activate your deep stabilising muscles. It can be used for a variety of problems: for post-traumatic movement, coordination training.
FITBALL- large gymnastics ball
Balls of different diameters are available on the market. They can be used for physiotherapy, but they are also ideal for sitting on, while maintaining the correct posture. When choosing the size of the ball, we take your height into account, and the size charts will help us. It is one of the most important tools for stabilisation training, post-trauma rehabilitation training and balance development.
Rubber band, barbell
With rubber bands and dumbbells, we can increase resistance, making the exercises more difficult. Available in different strengths/weights, they can be used in a wide range of applications.
SMR cylinder
It can be used to loosen muscle bundles, increase mobility and reduce the risk of injury. The range is quite wide, it can be difficult to decide which roller to choose. For those who have never rolled before, it is advisable to choose a softer, evenly coloured tool. Those who are experienced can choose a harder material or a ribbed surface, which can even be used to treat the trigger point. It can be used to complement the warm-up before a workout, or to aid recovery after a workout. The longer version can be used as an unstable surface for core stabilisation training.
Suspension / training strap-TRX
Developed in the US Army, it is still very popular today. We can make the exercises more difficult by using our own body weight and body angle. It can be easily fixed by throwing it through a door, or even slung over a tree branch. It can be used to strengthen and stretch various muscle groups and to improve joint range of motion.
Trigger ball / massage ball
It is similar in size to a tennis ball. The material is hard and the surface can be smooth or pleated. It can be used to loosen the trigger point of muscles, to loosen the muscle bundles of smaller muscles, it fits in a small space, it is a practical tool. It can be used like a roller, perpendicular to the muscle's path, to loosen the muscle bundle, but you can also apply pressure to the painful point for 1-2 minutes.
BOSU
The shape is a semi-cut sphere, which is fixed to a plastic base. It is an indispensable tool for strain rehabilitation training, to improve balance, dexterity and joint positioning. It can be used as an exercise aid in post-injury rehabilitation and coordination training.
Dynair cushion - dynamic seat cushion
Made of plastic, you can inflate it with a needle valve pump, so you can't feel the ground when you stand on it, but you don't need to inflate it to rock hard. It can be used for core rehabilitation training, to improve dexterity, balance, joint positioning, and is an essential tool for post-injury rehabilitation. It can also be used as a seating cushion, taking into account the correct sitting position.
